Andy Wills is a keen, Ossett (West Yorkshire) based, photographer with a passion that is more than just a hobby.
Having given up photography in his teens, the flame was re-ignited a couple of years ago after comments were made about some family “snaps” taken with a simple point and shoot.
Encouraged by this, and with a gigantic leap of faith, a (not-so-cheap) Canon DSLR was purchased. Within a couple of months the “basics” of using a reflex camera came flooding back. In no time at all the fully automatic and “play zone” settings were discarded.
Moving on to the last couple of years Andy has learned new skills and techniques. These have been self-taught or with the guidance of more experienced (and in some cases professional) photographers, to whom he is eternally thankful for this.
Striving to achieve a balance in what is original, creative and sometimes challenging Andy has used various web sites to “present” some of his work. He now feels comfortable showcasing more of his works in one location.
